SCHEDULE

SFX:	THEME

VOICE:	Good morning, I'm Rita Malloy, with the
	BCN afternoon schedule.

Following the Great Eastern, it's Look
It's. Today, "Look, It's the Welfare
Police." Host Pander Peerabrawme joins a
crack squad of investigators as they
search a single mom's laundry for
	incriminating male underwear.

If you're experiencing a faintly sour
smell from your ears, or bouts of
	lightheadedness and a giddy insouciance,
you'll want to tune in this week's
edition of "Medicine Chest" at twelve-
thirty. Call in to host Tammy Hall and
her guest specialist, Dr. Robert Epstein,
as Medicine Chest tries to unravel the
mystery of Auris Caseitis, what some
	Newfoundlanders are calling earcheese.

Chef Paul Benoit is back in the BCN
Kitchen at 3:30 with Paul's Pot. The
	celebrity cook-book series continues
today when rock arena architect Al Speer
joins Chef Benoit to share an old family
	recipe - Nuremberg Surprise.

At 4:00, on "Jock and Jill", BCN's man in
the corners, Hubie Hendrix, looks at the
	team roller-boxing craze in central
	Newfoundland. Featured guest is player-
coach and cutman of the Buchans Miners,
	Dr. Vince Murray.

At 5:00, it's the BCN Five O'clock News,
	with me, Rita Molloy.

And tonight, live on Playlets, the
highlight of the season from the Bay
L'Argent Toime of Toimes Pageant. It's
	the reenactment of the "Portuguese
	Gaitering and Evisceration of Merchant
	Wareham." And the usual skits,
recitations and songs from the friendly
	people of Bay L'Argent.

A full afternoon and evening of
	informative and entertaining programming
on BCN 520, all Newfoundland Radio !
