	town are calling the "eighteen minute 
	gap."

	I admit my role in, and ultimately my 
	responsibility for, this venerable 
	station's first ever interruption of 
	service.
	
	I was shaken by the ... electrifying 
	experience.  But thankfully, I did not 
	receive any serious injuries.  
	
	I am obliged to BCN director of 
	engineering Ari Uldmanis for showing me 
	the inner workings of radio transmission 
	and for administering first aid.
	
	I also state that I do not blame him, in 
	any way, for what transpired up there, 
	on the tower, last Monday.  Hey.  
	Accidents happen.  If anybody should
