CLIPS, THEME IN AND PAUL'S BILLBOARD OVER
THEME

PAUL:	Bon Jovi, peoples of Canada, hello; gudinn daginn, Iceland;
how's she gettin' on, Nfld, welcome to the Great Eastern, my
name is Paul Moth. Today: a spine-tingling, nerve-jangling,
	mind-blasting, brain-busting, synapse-snapping, boundary-
	defying, mouth-watering, toe-tapping tour ... beneath St.
John's. Into the catacombs that honeycomb the bowels of
our fair city. I didn't think I'd make it back ... all this for you,
with me, Paul Moth, on The Great Eastern, Newfoundland's
	Cultural Magazine.

SFX:	THEME OUT

St. John's is the city of legends, so the advertising would
have it ... a place where anything can happen. There is a
vitality to this megalopolis that rivals that of cities ... oh ...
twice its size. Non-stop action, twenty-four hours a day.
There's nothing compares to a night on this town. Or below
	it.

And last night was one of those nights - I packed away my
traditional Friday night grub job, caught the opening of an art
exhibit, and then called in a favour from a local taxi stand.
But before hitting the streets, yesterday afternoon I was
fitted with the latest in BCN documentary technology, I got
wired for sound ... because I wanted you there, too. Come
along, Canada, it was quite a ride ... beneath St. John's.

Come along, Canada, it was quite a ride ... beneath St.
