SFX:	THEME OUT

What a summer ! After eight wonderful weeks together,
today we bid farewell to the disembarking Canadian
listeners who booked passage on our giant nautical
machine this summer. All ashore that's going ashore.
	We wish you well.

But life and The Great Eastern sail on. Next week of
course, we'll be in Reykyavik for our Annual Last
Saturday In August In Iceland Party.

It's the end of summer, you can just feel it ... the kids are
starting to drive you nuts, nights are getting short and a
little cool, the bloom is off the rose, soon time to pick
berries and make jam, put the chains on the truck, take
the screens out of the doors and put up the storm
windows and begin to go slowly and certainly mad from
cabin fever during the interminable northern winter with its
	regularly scheduled programming.
Ah ! (shake away those bad thoughts) let's savour this
last bit of summer. Our last few moments together.
