New developments in Canada's espionage-sex scandal.  Prime Minister Pearson 
has called for an inquiry into allegations that former Conservative cabinet 
ministers had liasons with the communist agent, Gerda Munsinger.

In Ottawa today, the leader of the opposition, John Diefenbaker told Canadians 
that, "a vote for the Liberals is a vote for organized crime."

In local news, the St. John's Association of Dentists tells city council to 
end their emotional misinformation campaign and "face up to flouridation".

Premier Smallwood will be in attendance tonight when the Memorial Glee Club 
under the direction of Zdenek Navratil salutes Come Home Year with a performance 
of Dvorak's "From the New World", Opus '95.

And in sports, George Chuvalo says he's ready for next Tuesday's heavyweight 
title bout with Cassius Clay.  Today, Chuvalo got the support of former champ, 
Joe Louis.  Louis says that Clay, who now goes by the name, Mohammed Ali, is 
a disgrace to boxing for refusing to serve in the military.
