SFX:	THE WHOLE BCN THANG W/DOUG ...

THE CLIPS ...

PAUL:	Hello, peoples of Canada, bonjour. Goth-ahn die-inn, Iceland. My name is
	Paul Moth.

	This week on The Great Eastern;  a slap shot to the head; brain powered radio;
	haggis balls for breakfast; beware the explosive possibilities when athletic
	shoes meet franchising shares; and mind the caber.

	All this for you, with me, on The Great Eastern, Nfld's Cultural Magazine !

SFX:	THEME OUT

	Well ... we have gotten tons of mail concerning last week's program, and my faux
	pas with Margaret Atwood. Heck, I didn't realize she was held in that high a
	regard.

	So I went out and bought a couple of her books - "The Handmaid's Tale" ( boy,
	was that a scary story ! ) and "The Circle Game." And I can now say, wow, what
	a writer.  Unconditionally recommended.

	Let's hope there's nothing on this week's show that'll raise the dander on your
	neck the same way. Though, of course, we love hearing from you, what you think
	about the show, what you disagree with, what you like.

	Without further ado, as they say in the theatre, let's see what BCN's director
	of radio is up to.
