PAUL:	It’s celebration time ! Today
	we observe the first
	anniversary of the nouveau
	noise, it’s one week old.
	Alright, let’s play “What’s
	That Noise From Nfld.”

	Hollis Duffett, let’s hear
what it is that it is !

SFX:	THAT NEW NOISE

	There you go, get familiar
with that new sound. Now, in
	to the entries we dive.

Here’s a letter all the way
from ... St. Louis de Ha Ha,
Quebec, our half sister to the
	east, and it’s from Mirielle
	Gamache, Bonjour Mirielle, et
	Mirielle ecrive, “Dear Paul,
	We, my husband and I,
	absolutely love The Great
	Eastern. Every Saturday
	morning we sit around and
watch the radio, just like our
parents did in the old days.

We have a guess for the
	contest. Is that Captain
	Lloyd Duncan in his memorable
rôle of Queeqeg ? It would be
	excerpted from the Orson
	Welles / BCN production of
	Welles’s adaptation of “Moby
Dick” aired on Playlets in the
	early `40’s.”

	And that’s signed, your
	Francophone Fans, Mirielle et
	Alexandre Gamache.

	Good guess, Mirielle, but not
the right one. We should air
some of Welles’s BCN work here
	sometime.

Just for you, now, here’s one
	more listen to the mystery
	noise.

SFX:	THE NOISE

If you think you know that
noise, then you must enter the
	What’s That Noise From Nfld
	contest.

It’s easy ! Just send your
	guess in an envelope clearly
	marked “contest”, to The Great
	Eastern, c/o the BCN, 342
	Duckworth St., St. John’s,
	Nfld., A1C 1H5.

All the way from Nova Scotia
	now, here’s Sunfish with “----
	----.”
