Were you involved in a NASA staging of lunar landings near 
Fermeuse in the 1960's?  A group of former film crew members 
in the secret undertaking are forming an association, you can 
join tonight at 7:30 at the BIS.   

The Music Teachers of Newfoundland conclude their annual meeting 
here in St. John's with a full week-end of activities.  This afternoon 
at the UNSJ music school Japanese visionary Yamagucci Gumi demonstates 
new teaching methods - including the taping of fingers to the keys or 
Kymiotto and the Nagakita or "scary instructor" technique.  Tonight 
Winnifred Powell,  England's bawdy bird of the ivories entertains delegates 
with the raccous and ribald, that's at the Tiki Neow Lounge of The Hotel 
Palmer Hotel until 2:00 AM.

Owing to a fire and subsequent switching problems at the Mt. Scio exchange 
many Customers of St. John's Telephone shared party lines this week.  
Friendship, sometimes intimate, resulted and there as been a call for a 
face to face get together.  St. John's Telephone is inviting Rabbit Town 
and Higher Levels customers with the 743 and 598 exchange who wish to meet 
to the lobby of the phone company on Garrison Drive tommorrow at noon.  

And there was apparently a bit of a mix-up at the face painting booth at 
last weekends Peace Picnic at the Fenian Grounds. Parents may find the 
paint difficult to remove, the paint while entirely safe, is of an aloe 
base and not water soluable.  Parents with concerns can call the
