We’re pleased to present the 2024 Gerry Porter Award to Loopstitch. Kate and Michelle have been collaborating since 2018, and over the past few years have been developing a distinctive and beautiful improvisatory practice involving viola, electronics, and recorded sound. Loopstitch have performed at a variety of events and venues, including Sound Symposium, and are said to be working on an album. We hope this award will assist them in continuing to work and explore together!
